Understandably, the coronavirus-inspired stock market drop this week has some investors spooked. For such investors, GHPIA President and Chief Investment Officer Brian Friedman has some words of reassurance. Appearing on February 25 on Mandy Connell’s show on Denver’s KOA-AM, Brian took a long-term perspective and noted that this week’s selloff is one of many similar-sized dips since the Financial Crisis bottomed out in 2009 that have failed to halt the market’s spectacular rise throughout the last 11 years. Brian also addressed fluctuations in the bond market and offered general advice for investors planning for retirement amid the current uncertainty.
