Sebrina Ivey is Chief Operating Officer at GHPIA, where she plays a critical role in the firm’s leadership, regulatory oversight, and financial advisory services. As a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Personal Financial Specialist (PFS™), and Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), she combines financial expertise, strategic operations management, and regulatory compliance knowledge to ensure that GHPIA continues to deliver exceptional service and fiduciary excellence.

Sebrina’s role extends far beyond operations. She is a trusted advisor to clients, a key decision-maker in the firm’s executive leadership, and an essential part of GHPIA’s team. She works closely with clients on financial planning, investment strategy, and tax-efficient wealth management, ensuring that their financial decisions are aligned with their long-term goals.

Before joining GHPIA in 2012, Sebrina held leadership roles at Buchanan Clarke Schlader, the University of Virginia, Great-West Life, and First Data Corporation. She also served as Controller at Developmental Pathways, where she oversaw complex financial operations and reporting. Her experience in corporate finance, regulatory compliance, and wealth management allows her to provide clients and the firm with invaluable financial insights and strategic solutions.

Sebrina has been recognized for her outstanding contributions to financial planning and leadership. In 2019, the American Institute of CPAs awarded her the Personal Financial Planning Standing Ovation award for her excellence in financial planning. In 2021, the Colorado Society of CPAs named her a “Woman to Watch”, highlighting her impact in the industry.

Sebrina earned both a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting and a Bachelor of Science in Sociology and from the University of Northern Colorado.

Raised in Brighton, Colorado, Sebrina now lives in Highlands Ranch with her husband and two sons. She is actively engaged in professional and business leadership communities, serving as a member of the CFO Leadership Council, Arapahoe Community College Accounting Accountability Committee, and the Christian Women Business Owners Organization. She also represents GHPIA as a Partner with Entrepreneurs’ Organization (EO) Colorado, supporting local entrepreneurs and business leaders.

Outside of work, Sebrina enjoys reading, crocheting, cross-stitching, and cheering on her sons at soccer. She is also proud to have earned a role as a Founding Family member of Ben Franklin Academy Charter School in Highlands Ranch, where she played a key role in guiding the financial planning from its initial concept to the opening of the school. Sebrina’s commitment to lifelong learning, problem-solving, and financial stewardship is reflected in both her personal and professional life.
