Before joining GHPIA in 2024, Kathryn practiced law, mainly in the areas of securities, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property and technology transactions. Kathryn joined GHPIA as part of a second career pivot, in which she hopes to use her experiences as a lawyer to help more women become financially independent.
Kathryn earned a Bachelor of Arts from Stanford University and a Juris Doctorate from Georgetown University.
Outside of work, Kathryn has long been involved in various charitable organizations. Currently she is a board member of the Bird Conservancy of the Rockies, serving on the Governance and Investment Committees. Prior to joining the board, she volunteered in the Veterinary Services Department of Humane Colorado (formerly Dumb Friends League) for over a decade. Her family currently includes a senior mastiff-mix.
